Mindfulness Workshops for Children

Mindfulness has been found to change brain structure and function in the areas of the amygdala (emotions), hippocampus (learning and memory) and prefrontal cortex (self-regulation). These areas are of prime importance for a child’s growth and well-being cognitively, socially and emotionally. There is no question of if teaching a child mindfulness is worth it.

Your child will learn about the benefits of mindfulness, the impact on the brain and ways to be mindful every day. They will do this through fun activities such as mindful crafts and movement. Your child will also learn a range of breathing techniques that they can apply to everyday situations.

After gaining my teaching qualification and Psychology Degree, I have spent the last 7 years developing a passion for teaching and learning about children. I love supporting children to be the best version of themself and want to ensure all children feel happy, confident and have the tools to thrive in any situation.
